Hi! I'm a software engineer in the Boston area.
I'm a systems programmer with experience building large scale, high performance distributed systems as well as desktop and web apps.
I work at Chess.com on chess engines that teach you how to improve your game. Before that, I helped take dozens early-stage startups from zero to one at a startup incubator.
These days, I'm particularly interested in debuggers and other introspection tools that help programmers understand what their systems are doing.
I'm also in to fitness (mostly cycling, lifting, and rock climbing), music, and Slay the Spire.
Please feel free to reach out via email to jim at this domain; I love hearing from you!
